MANAGEMENT Position Available


We're currently seeking an individual with retail and/or production management experience. Previous work experience in the men’s grooming industry is preferred but is not a requirement. The applicant must be highly organized, possess exceptional customer relation skills, must be a problem solver and be able to operate with ease in a fast paced environment.  We operate in an image based industry; therefore, qualifying candidates will need to have an appreciation for men's grooming and style and should lead our team by example.  Candidates should have a minimum of three year’s experience in a professional setting as a store manager in a very fast paced environment. Previous production management skills are a definite plus. The position is full-time, five consecutive days per week from 9:30a to 7:00p with an hour lunch break. The chosen applicant will report directly to our corporate president and will manage a staff consisting of an assistant manager, two shop assistants and eight to twelve barbers and/or stylists.

  • Daily shop opening - Arrive at 9:30 and prepare shop for the day

  • Run the “Daily Client Wait List” – Manage the daily list, provide excellent customer service by conversing and joking with clients thus creating an upbeat, positive shop “vibe”, follow Shave Barber Company’s list guidelines on scheduling services throughout the day, explain to each customer “how it works”, notify clients when we are ready for them, accurately ring up each client in our point of sale program

  • Manage the shop assistant(s) on duty to ensure daily tasks are completed properly (sweeping, towels, cleaning, etc.)

  • Oversee barbers and stylists ensuring all work is being performed up to the quality and production standards set forth by the company president as well as Georgia State Board

  • Create and implement quarterly employee schedules, modify as needed to ensure maximum customer service and profitability

  • Store closing – Perform daily cash drawer closeout and bank deposit preparation, ensure the shop is ready for the following day

  • Ensure the company aesthetic is maintained at the level set forth by company policy by ensuring the shop is cleaned, maintained and decorated appropriately

  • Act as primary human resources officer for the company by recruiting, interviewing and employing qualified candidates and performing employment terminations if necessary

  • Assist the company’s president by ensuring the Shave Barber Company’s marketing plan is followed
